so this has been my world today. 
it's what i've spent the better part of the day looking at. we didn't include - the washing machine, the mopped floor, the plunger (something is up with the toilet!) the bike, cheerios, the vacuum & the spatula.

we saw a pheasant walk past out back today while we were having lunch. (guess we didn't get a shot of the pheasant either) the first question was obvious - 'what was that mom!' the others that followed were -
'where does he live? - how old is he? - where did it come from? - where is his flock?' and last, she was just hung up on this fact - 'i just haven't seen you see pheasants before mom!'

he just told me how he was thinking on the drive home that he really was amazed that i ate all the ice cream last night.
truth - i ate the entire carton of ben & jerry's - one bite after the next : )
