us girls started the night being domestic. our dinner didn't seem like enough so we made dessert : )

later though, after enjoying our feast this was how the conversation started outside -
'i'm going to a gun war jack, do you want to come?' he grabed his stick gun and joined her.
here are the gunfighters. yes, she is wearing a frilly princess skirt and fake jewels and being the girl she is her gun noises sounded more like blowing bubbles (notice her lips) than true gun sounds.
scenes of 'war' -

with the war over she went back to her girly world.
'we are going to sing to my mother allison first and then we are going to sing to Jesus Christ our Savior'
'we will have cheerful hearts and be respectful in our hearts'
'we need to show kindness and self-control' - (any wonder what we have been working on and trying to learn lately : )
'go tell it on the mountian! that Jesus Christ is born!'
and with that she sang & danced, marched & twirled & talked around the yard. please forgive the amount of photos - i was attempting with still shots to capture a priceless moment in time ~
he was excited to be her audience

saturday is the 28th - he has been 'elfing' all week. tonight he set out a card. and because she absolutely loves and delights to give gifts soon there was a card and gift of a flower tied with ribbon and a crayon to match dads setting by his on the table - so precious. i would leave it set out it is so carefully and loving arranged except that i am wildly curious & excited about what is in his ; ) and she will be wildly excited to show me what is in hers in the morning.
