h0ldfast: Monday July 16, 2007

we're still pretty new to the whole parenting thing. it's just been four years. but our world changed 4 years ago today. she became apart of it.

we love her. we love that she is apart of our family. we're grateful and humbled that God gave her to us. we're making every effort to show her who Jesus is.

her personality is shy unless you know her. she has talked since 'forever'. she loves to play. she has an imagination that is very creative. she loves dolls & teddy and will take care of them for hours on end. she's incredibly attentive. she's observant. she remembers and recognizes when things change or are different. she's good at holding us accountable - if we say something she won't forget till it's happened or is done. she's thoughtful and sensitive. she loves to give. she's passionate. she gets excited over small things. she loves her treasures. she loves her daddy. she's a wonderful helper - she always has been. she's kind and patient with the boys. she's more often than not willing to share her time, space, toys & imagination with them. she loves routine and knowing what is happening next.

she turned 4 today.

we got back from family camp this afternoon and he explained that on your birthday you got to pick whatever you wanted for dinner. she thought for alittle bit and then decided she'd like noodles. nOodLes!! she likes simple things.

while the guys were setting up the new (hand-me-down) pool - her and teddy were getting ready.

then it was time to swim!

not exactly sure what he is doing here but they were excited.

after her fascination with the goggles camping we got her some of her own - along with a $1.16 noodle floaty. she was tickled!

since the little party and cake are happening tomorrow night - her and dad went to the corner grocery and picked out ice cream treats for everyone. after the noodles for dinner, of course.
