she told me the 'girls & her' were going to be inviting me to lunch in alittle bit.
'probably at 10:45, mom.'
it was nearly 11 when she said this. it was going to be be her and i, teddy wouldn't be coming since he was a boy. but teddy's sister andrea was coming and so was his grammy and several others. she was getting the hamburgers and orange juice ready. she'd call me when it was ready. she needed to move her toybox so everyone would fit around.
'probably i'll sit in the back, mom, i don't know if your stomach would fit.' (thanks!)
so she had the letter magnets as hamburgers and spoons for the oj and told me it was ready. first we needed to pray she said -
'thank you Jesus for this wonderful girl lunch. we love you Lord and we 'pre', we 'appre' 'preciate' that you were born on christmas and rose on easter. we love you and thank you for this day. in Your name we pray, amen.'
then we start eating till - (no joke! they were late, thought it was seriously funny and just abit ironic!! sorry friend, it was all on her own!)
'oh, its theresa and felicity! you'll have to sit at teddy's bench. now mom, we will have to pray again.'
i was really trying to remember the first prayer so i missed the second. jack came in next and in spite of him being a boy, he got to stay. he was tickled. we prayed again, ate and just like that were done & the magnets went back to the 'fridge.

i decided we should take a picnic lunch down to the cows yesterday. half way there i realized the overcast day was completly deceiving - it was hot & muggy.
dad showed up as a nice surprise and took pictures.
where their fear of barbed wire is, i'm not sure! that and they were barefoot in the cow pastures. i am not overly concerned with germs - but it was abit much, even for me.
