she wondered the other day why her grandparents didn't have babies anymore. i reminded her that daddy and auntie a. were grammy's kids.
'well daddy used to be,' she said, 'but now he is our daddy and an expert 'lectrician!'

me and my pregnant self should learn a lesson from him on his contentment with clothing. he'll wear his clothes till they are no longer wearable.
i've thrown away several articles this week. glad for the good clearance deals to replace them. and even though i didn't throw away any worn out things in my closet i still came home with new deals, too -
pretty eventful this morning when the fire truck and ambulance came down the road to help the neighbor man. all of the conversations at lunch revolved around -
'well we normally have never seen a fire truck on our road before!' &
'it was good that bucket was in his pen so he didn't bother the workers.'
we'll have a family bbq tonight. and see about lawn mowing and car washing . . . those are my ideas not his : )
looking forward to communion tomorrow.
need to get back to the laundry.
