found these on the camara last night.

 

 i think they got along just fine : ) it was last minute, he was availible. they were so excited he was coming. they were happy when we got back. he'd even rinsed the dishes!

getting ready for bed she said -

'uncle rudy was so silly - he asked where we sat at the table!' followed by great laughter. and 'that uncle rudy, he took the corndogs out of the oven and they weren't hot yet.'

 

he let us have a fun night out. so thank you, so much. you are good to us & love them and we are grateful for you.

so at breakfast she noticed that the muffins were small. i told her yes, they didn't turn out quite like grandma's.

'well, daddy & grandma know how to make big muffins.' 

lovely - i'm not even going to try and keep up with the 'jones'. dad and grandma have me beat! : )

they have been outside most of the day. though they are now dressed. right now they are walking around holding hands. ben goes back and forth from chewing on the pledge dust spray can to holding the hose and making vacuum noises on the carpet. the living room after all week is finally looking picked up and normal again. now ben is dancing to rich mullens (with the vacuum hose) - his dad would be proud.

september we said could be a work month. God is pretty good. it's been a month full of extra work - a harvest of sorts for us. our 'barns are filling up with plenty and our vats are overflowing with new wine . . . ' prov. 3  we are amazed at His faithfulness.

my little vacuumer is frustrated his hose won't go where he wants it to . .  . . . time to go.
