its been 4 whole days that we've been together. its been wonderful. its our last night - benny just went to bed. they are reading stories - nurse nancy, dr. seuss' abc's, strawberry shortcake, no more monkey's jumpin' on the bed, the big red barn. i can hear it all - even needed to sing alittle louder to ben over the happy stories. the candles are burning, the dishwasher is running, they have warm blankies in the dryer. we turned the heater on for the first time this winter. when the little needle on the thermostat is nearly at the bottom - its time! cinnamon is on the stove. everyone has flannel sheets. my stomach hurt from laughing last night when we were making our bed - flannel sheets, big quilts, the heater was on, we were going to take a hot shower - he was sweating already : ) and thought we should open the window.
we spent thanksgiving with family. 'both sides'. different days. wonderful food. happy times. so thankful for families. for being loved.
'in order of appearance' - mom's 4 generations; chad-o; camera wars; group family shots; sailor & jack saying their thanksgiving verse; jude wildly excited about the newest thanksgiving tradition - the 'pin-watta'; jack, just alittle terrified & thinking hitting it was not that great of an idea : )

ready to start next week. excited for christmas time.
but there is still some pie left and a few hours left of our night . . . so goodnight.
