this little guy came in from outside today - he actually lasted the longest. jack was the first in. he was too sad to go back out. so while i wrote christmas cards he made me dinner & coffee, hot coffee & egg nog & water & hamburgers & more coffee, lots of coffee really - it was all served in the yellow boat with the airplane for a spoon. the coffee came in a blue block. sailor came in next and finally benny. and no, i'm not sure what was all over his face ??? we got some warm lunch started after he got cleaned up.

grateful again for church ladies who have brought dinners. humbling to accept i can't do it all . . . although when sailor asked this afternoon who was bringing us dinner tonight we explained that this was not a new permanent event : )

christmas cards are ready for the mail. now its just finishing shopping & wrapping. christmas programs & parties. we have been singing alot of away in a manger and go tell it on the mountain. the 2 songs in particular that jack recognizes and will sing! sailor has figured out there is more than one verse to away in a manger and is working on the cattle are lowing . . .
