i should really drink water after feeding molly - instead i got a handful of chocolate chips : )
we had a work day around here on saturday. finishing the baseboard in the dining room, hall & boys room was supposed to be a before baby project. it obviously turned into after baby. so we started off with pancakes. this is what happened when ben was left unattended on the counter -
'somehow this stuff is supposed to turn into my breakfast . . . ?'
and when jack came in he offered to share.

everything it seems i've been reading and hearing lately has all been about the same topics - i think i should take a hint!
what are my priorities? how is my time spend? what is really important? lets not get so worked up over things that are really no big deal. attitude is important. ask for wisdom. pray first. admit you can't do it all. recognize where and Who the 'can' comes from.
pastor talked about it yesterday. the sunday school lesson went with it. bible study has been that way. songs on the radio. and because of the new highspeed even podcasts we've been listening to have been about it.
news flash - time to learn a lesson. its all been very good.

i think benny would live in a snowsuit if he could. gorgeous day on saturday when the rest of us have short sleeves on he is happy in his down coat. he likes to be warm.
there are fresh flowers in the living room - thanks to my mother in law.
amie said it was only 12 degrees in indiana today. i don't think i've ever been in weather that cold. it was probably 56 in our room last night and i was freezing : )
there is a valentine party for the kids this week. and i am having a serious creativity block on what to come up with.
i like rex.
jack walked around in white underwear, a green hat & 2 different sizes of navy saltwaters on this morning. it was darling.
they had church outside. teddy and jack's teddy got to come. ben was the traveling preacher since he didn't stay in his seat very well. after that jack dug holes in the flower beds with his excavator - church was a better idea!

we went to see aunt sissie last week. she needed to meet molly. she is a precious piece of the past. she says all the time and is right - that we should come more often.

rex and justin need awards for all they've done on making this new computer work. i am still on the learning curve and admit that i was stuck in some ruts with the old one. but i'm determined to make this one my friend.
this was sailor on the floor with the old one. she is 'on the phone with tech support.' it was a classic conversation - very similar to the one rex was having at the desk.

'for a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside. i would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.' psalms 84
