ben walked past and didn't look twice at his little sister laying out asleep on the driveway or his mom standing on top of the suburban.
it seemed perfectly natural to him : )

we only had 2 of the kids with us on sunday for our road trip to napa and decided to save $$$ and take the car. kids + carseats + us + diaper bag + stuff + starbucks! = remembering that its a very small car and we're grateful for our suburban. we were on top of each other. the plus side - not having to reach far to help them, or for anything really!
my dad thought yesterday would have been a great day to buy a pig - can't you just smell the auction yard now . . .
i'm ok with just owning a dog : )
the computer is growing on me. it really can do neat things.
we enjoyed the company of fun friends sunday night. napoleon never did dance, we didn't blend the pizza and i sorely lost the game - but it was all good.

the baby swing. the desk. the chair with laundry half folded on it. the table with red tulips. the couch with phone charger, tv clicker & baby wipes. the rocking chair with yet more laundry. the book suitcase that has more books in than out - surprisingly. the black cupboard and toys. the chair with molly's little easter dress that came in the mail today. the floor with work boots, toys, flip-flops and the towel that mopped up water from a spill last night. the piano with an army man and dust spray sitting on it. the closet that holds files and coats.
all of that means i have other things that need my attention. and soon it won't be things but kids.
i think we'll have leftover italian food for dinner. the italian part makes the leftovers part sound more exciting : )
jack has not fallen asleep and his idle mind & hands have not made the wisest of choices.
