an outtake of a photo project we were attempting - most of them actually ended up being outtakes : )

i don't normally link things but reading this was incredible - i sadly had no idea.
“We have received so much love and support,” said Mr. Romeike. “Our children are no longer homesick. They are so happy to be able to be homeschooled here. The Klett family and the people of Morristown have been so welcoming. We love it here. We left family, our home and a wonderful community in Germany. But the freedom is worth it. We hope that our example may pave the way for other families. It is wrong for Germany to persecute homeschoolers. But if they do not want the best and brightest and those who seek freedom, then perhaps the United States will benefit. We hope that our application for asylum will be granted.”
a good reminder that freedom isn't free.

molly is too little to appreciate the freedoms of homeschooling & yesterday she seemed to find school to be dull enough she could fall asleep during class : )

well we have our 1sts sleep-over guests for the plaid couch this weekend. upon viewing our high quality accommodations online our newest sister-in-law concluded there was really no point in looking elsewhere - lol!!
so yay - chad & lovely lisa are in town & so is amie and a host of other family we haven't seen in years. we're having a thanksgiving reunion of sorts this weekend.
the boys have turned the living room into a 'struction place' complete with fire trucks, backhoes and wooden blocks as their pipes. sailor took her white board & markers in the truck with rex to spell words for him on their way to the dentist.
i sometimes really like phone pictures -
molly is content with whatever the boys are not playing with. and i have a kitchen full of dishes to wash as the dishwasher is on the fritz!

'. . . we will not conceal them from their children but tell to the generation to come the praises of the Lord and His strength and His wondrous works that He has done.' - psalm 78
