'Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and the One who formed you from the womb - I, the Lord am the maker of all things. Stretching out the heavens by Myself and spreading out the earth all alone . . . ' - Is. 44

molly and i are inside this morning. we just got the kitchen cleaned up and some laundry started and the really smelly trash taken out.  she's on the couch looking out the window talking to the kids.  i think she's feeling a bit cheated - wishing she could be out with them.  the dolly's, toys & fern just don't seem as exciting as life outside.

did you know that at 12 weeks our baby's structures have already all formed. they will continue to grow obviously - but they are all there.  the fingers & toes have separated and the nails are growing.  the digestive system is working.  i am always completely fascinated with these details.  all this and only 2.5 inches longs . . .

we've worked out a better idea for molly - the open front door lets her be be closer to their world. especially when they come up to talk to her and she's having fun opening and closing it.

in other random news - we ate pizza for dinner on national pancake day -
somehow that didn't seem right : )

this week has felt like spring and its been more fun to be outside than in.  the downside of that is the loads & loads of laundry waiting to be folded on the couch and the bathroom in serious need of cleaning. the upsides have far outweighed those things though : )

we invited felicity for a picnic at the cows the other day.

it was just too pretty of a day to stay inside & with good friends that live not too many miles down the road it was a perfect combination.

grandpa likes to fly kites.  he brought jude and kites for all over yesterday.  the bummer was the serious lack of wind : )

little boys who lost interest pretty quick in kites - they decided to be 'hotel builders' instead.

but they prayed for more wind & got a sweet lesson on the kindness of God . . . .

so out they went to try again -

this post took longer to finish than originally planned. lunch is past. school is done. naps are nearly over. rex is almost home. more laundry has been added to that pile on the couch. time to start thinking about dinner - i'm hungry.  the open front door has left me cold - its not quite totally spring  : )

we are up and out early tomorrow for a busy day.

' . . . and my soul wells up with hallelujahs - o praise Him all His mighty works. there is no language where You can't be heard - Your song goes out to all the earth -
hallelujah o hallelujah . . . '
