pretty much i'm thinking xanga is a thing of the past. no one does xanga anymore - facebook & blogger & all the other sites i don't even know about are the way to go . . . or at least what every one else uses as their 'online social network'.
ah, thats ok - for the 3 people who might every now & then read this and for the sake of a family journal i will stick here . . . . even though the world has moved on : )
i was supposed to have jury duty today. but my 'juror group is being considered for possible service' and i can call back after 5pm on the 25th to find out. there was a time when i thought it'd be fun to be on a jury . . . lol . . . not so much anymore! i'm hoping to just be dismissed.
speaking of the 25th - its 6 months till christmas : )
so instead of fulfilling my public obligations - we have worked outside today getting ready to go camping.
unemployment has its rare perks and we are looking forward to our vacation. . . . if camping with little kids, no electricity or running water & pit toliets with a in potty training 2 year old is worthy enough to be called a vacation! we have the lawn spread with all sorts of camp stuff. rex found his free find on craigs list. last year we took the orange couch - this year its a white loveseat that already bucket is fond of. we also found some card tables at the thrift shops - $4.99 40% off. every year we feel more and more like true campers : )
rex is out getting the oil changed and told me his battery died - i was thinking the truck battery and really it was the phone battery . . . ahhh communication, its an important detail in life : )
we are headed to grammy's for dinner. she is making chocolate lush, my stomach growls just thinking of its goodness. i'm so grateful she invites us every so often for dinners - she's good that way. sailor has been with her most of the day.
the song by leeland called carried to the table that plays on my site is my new favorite right now - its playing on pandora as i type & its up loud.
i have sooo forgotten my watering flowerbeds today - they will be well soaked!
its after 5 now and i need to call about that jury duty, get the kids up and head over to grammy's.
