- - -

the computer vs the laundry

  vs. diapers to change
  vs. school
  vs. dr. appointments
  vs. lunch to make
  vs. baby to feed
vs. being too tired at night
vs. the mud pie made & thoughtfully left on the back porch
vs. just about everything else in life
vs. the kids are now up and hungry and because the computer itself was ridiculously slow this morning      and i'm out of time - again . . . .

its all meant very little posting time.

we got a package in the mail last week that reminded us of God's incredible goodness - maybe the kids 5th time to mcdonalds in their combined lifetimes : )

some regan thoughts -

i was 2 weeks old yesterday.  mom, in honor of it dressed me in something other than a white long sleeve oneies.  its her favorite outfit for me i guess - she tells me she likes newborn oneies and little white socks.  she never once took my picture yesterday.  really? yes really.  she did take me to get weighed.  sailor came with us too.  i'm not quite up to birth weight.  the doctor with warm hands said i was in the 28th percentile for my weight and the 99th percentile for my height.  he called me a tall skinny kid.  when mom told that to daddy he wondered if maybe i'd been switched . . .
don't worry i wasn't!
and also don't worry - i get plenty to eat. i'm growing just fine!

i'm pretty in love with my mom & she's pretty in love with me.  i like it when i get to sleep with dad - he's always really warm and snuggley and i like lovies.

let's see, where have i been . . .
to church once, awana twice, target, my grandma's, the doctors, the pumpkin patch, in the stroller on walks down the road - but i haven't been to the cows yet. i really want to go to grammy's. she's been to see me but sailor tells me grammy's house is pretty cool.

i've already had meals in the car - not while its moving - dad knows better than that!  but you know i'm along for the ride with this family and they don't always stay home!  i've fallen off the couch already too.  that was a bummer - it wasn't even molly's fault.  mom did a good job of coming to my rescue.

sailor likes to sing to me. i like all the songs she knows - i'm already hearing about Jesus.
jack likes to hold me - but it never lasts long.  he's a busy boy.
ben tells everyone that my name is regan rose.  he never forgets the rose.
molly makes sure i have my blankie.  her and i are learning to get along.

mom reminds me sisters are great . . .
i know she's right but its a learning curve for sure!

mom likes to hold me a night after i eat and am all snuggled up and cozy - that's why she hasn't had any time for the computer.  she told me after molly would go to bed she'd have a bit of veg time - but molly's not the last kid anymore.

she tells me i'm worth it - and i believe her.

i can kinda smile a little but mom hasn't quite got that on the camera.  instead she got this.  i'm not really like this much though - see molly, she was there too.  i'm trying to remember if that's why i was screaming

mom even thinks i'm super adorable like this . . . silly mom, put down the camera & pick me up!

mom is pretty good at typing one handed but she's about ready to lay me down.  she said the house is pretty much bombed right now and there are friends coming over soon. benny's a bit sad right now too - he needs some help.

so i guess we're done here.
