i like sunday's when ....
all the kids sleep in
the girls all leave with their hair combed
we aren't ridiculously late for church
we have lunch at moms
there is football, tennis & golf on all afternoon
naps happens
i lay on the bed & talk to amie
they pop popcorn for dinner
and lunches are packed & we're ready for school.
its been a really nice sunday -
it was regan's baby dedication this morning -
it was grandparents day - we didn't get the other grandparents before they left! we might have to swap it out later ...
we talked over some of the reasons we love all of them the other day -
we love their pool
we love their workroom
we love that they all live close by
we love that they love Jesus
we love that they love each other
we love that they love us
we love their bouquets of flowers
we love their vitamins
we love showing up for dinner
we love dropping them all off for a date
i have one grandparent left ....
i thought of him today tying molly's bow on her dress .... he could tie a really really good bow on a little girls dress.
yesterday being 9/11 marked one year ago that grandma died.
my other grandma died when i was 7.
my other grandpa died when i was 15.

glory. glory. we even had time for a few snaps before church : )
we got a costco ad thing in the mail that has a coupon for pumpkin pie - i'll be ripping that one out.
doesn't that just sound delicious. not all store bought pumpkin pies are equal ... well none except costco's.
