you know those little flick-the-ball for 10-20-40-50 points but you usually just land on 10 games .... they each got one at grammy's christmas party last week & i found them all lined up playing - full of concentration can't you tell : )
so i had a nice conversation with myself last week about how i really didn't need to spend so much time online. there was plenty of other worth-while things to do. wednesday was my first day of practice - like not even sit to order chritmas card pictures ... it could wait till nap time at least. maybe click pandora when it stopped .... but i stayed away.
and then that afternoon the internet quit working : )
and rex got sick, like throwing up sick.
and my christmas cards weren't ordered.
and nothing was going my way [whine]
and it stayed that way for the next couple of days.
no internet.
rex sick.
unordered cards
me whining about nothing going my way.
a few things were confirmed though -
1. its true i spend too much time online
2. i'm not good at playing single mom
3. there was mold growing on the back carpet of the suburban
and then things returned to normal.
and rex & i went on a merry little christmas trip just the 2 of us.
and now i guess its really back to normal ..... everyone is back home.
there is christmas music playing. benny's little sunday school paper he 'made for me' is on my desk. regan is sleeping. there is orange juice in the 'frig. most of our presents are wrapped.

one of those 'more worth-while' things we did last week -
she realized she was running regan up the canal bank & needed to correct her course.
sailor & jack were some kind of space mission crew & connected themselves with a blue rope .... 'cause that's what space mission crew people do, i guess.
