hello kids in bed.
hello cool breeze blowing in from the open windows.
hello radio still playing great tunes.
hello to another work night.
and yes .... i'm probably going to eat the rest of it : )

summer day number 15, would you like to hear about it ....
remember we said we had a date & hair cuts planned.
first we have the windy, slightly blurry sailor took the before picture.
next we have the slightly blurry from the phone that we sent to amie after picture.
baby, we cut the hair. i think its been growing since jacky was born .... and today we left a good 6/7 inches on the beauty parlor floor.
are you shocked? very!
then we have the date - which actually in the time line of today, came first. i love the olive garden. i love their bread sticks & alfredo dipping sauce. i love their salads. i love just ordering dessert & eating little bites of what rex gets. i love going with him.
i can't even believe how incredibly 'traditional' this is ... but we got rex a bbq for fathers day : ) ever since mothers day when he saw this one & i on the side said 'i'll buy you a bbq for fathers day' he's been ready to have it.
so fathers day came earlier & he is now proclaiming the rest of the week to be fathers day week, with questions like 'what are we going to do tomorrow for fathers day week?'
and i'm all 'member babe, tomorrow's summer day plan is suburban cleaning'
lol
anyway sunday we have great plans for a real man sort of feast from the new grill - tonight however due to crazy work schedule time constraints we christened the new weber with ... yes, hot dogs : )
benny - using his 'strong muscles' to open the package.

and now let's fill in the rest of our day with pictures .....
in the summer-texas-auntie lisa-loving spirit, regan wore a pink holster buckled around her waist all day - her choice : )
he was frozen in the freeze tag game when he told me he was really good at laying still & watching his tummy go up & down.
hello summer otter pop colored tongues.
the little train engine almost lost her balance -

and that's about it.
