a few weeks ago the kids were given this, they call it the jeep. to say molly & regan love it is an understatement. it only goes like 3 mph but the sister friends love their speed.

hello. i think its time for a post, one with a million pictures & an update on life!
ready, set, here we go : )
right now .... the girls have laid down for a nap. my feet are up & on the couch : ) the boys are playing with fire trucks & helicopters - (read: playing disputing who should get which man) sailor is making art creations for grammy. rex is gone - very untypical on a sunday.
we're a week behind in acknowledging birthdays. this was from our august birthday party for ben, amie & i. we had candle lighting issues this time so dad was good to hold the 'to' note for a decent chunk of time before he went on to 'you' so we could have lighted candles to blow out.
looks an awful lot like this one, doesn't it : ) we just changed the numbers & the cake shape!
benny boy is 5 now. this is the part where the mom speech 'i can't believe he's 5 already' comes in. when do you stop saying that ??? i didn't hear mom say this year 'i can't believe she's 28 already' talking about amie of course : )
5, that's like a real life little kid boy. 3 kids, that'll really rock your world 'they' said. you'll be outnumbered.
i think ben would do his own world rocking if he'd of been the 1st, 3rd, or 7th : ) he's so very different from jack, from rex even. he's a hard read. i'm watching him play right now ... he's beautiful.
the other kids got a bigger/with friends party when they turned 5 - i feel like we gypped ben just a tad. he wanted nothing more than a 'worker man party'. where daddy would wear his work clothes & bring his tools.
camera's aren't really his thing : )
so rex came home, didn't change his clothes! and turned the back yard into a work site.
safety glasses were required.
workers take breaks -
then it was back to business -
grandpa did most of the 'work' before & had tool boxes all ready to put together.
not everyone worked : )
after party rides -

lets switch parties, to a baby shower .... april says beautiful things in her blog about showers. she does them very well. amie's comment about our shower was 'uh, it doesn't really look like a baby shower ....'
we did forget the tacky pastel blue bears & blocks, i admit.
i have beautiful friends, just beautiful.
really grainy picture ... but she is one of those beautiful friends, so we had to use it.

hello morning glory .... with bed head enough for the entire family!
- - -
speaking of the whole family .... except chad n' lis.
- - -
night swimming & my attempt at not using a flash and still catching them : )

its turning out i have more pictures than words, i guess.
gonna need to wake up my girlies, we have communion tonight and need to get going.
