that's what he told me after he knocked on the back bedroom door & i let him in this morning. he went to the gym and was back before it was light. he had the day planned he said. ahh, yes!

so he took his little boy outside to change the flat tire on the car & let me sleep a precious 25 more minutes.  at breakfast 'the guys' told 'the girls' that we were going out today.

'rub-s' came with us.  we packed up lunch and in spite of the wind went to a park to play.

walking back to the car i heard her going 'shhh, shhh, shhh' then kissing her head - i turned around to see this. i guess ruby needed extra lovies!

there was more than one reason why 'men' did not sleep this afternoon and since most of them were not really his fault he got to sit outside in his swing and watch his daddy put the repaired tire back on the car.  while he was out there i was hearing reports of a high wind advisory in the central valley - ah, at least he had a hat on : )
