i've thought about posting a variety of different things. all of which have been deleted. maybe because most aren't worthy of a post.
it was after 2 by the time they made to to their beds. one waited till after 3 to fall asleep only to wake up at barely after 4. one woke up before 4 to the whines of a sibling. and the whining sibling never slept at all. : )
he is working till after 11pm tonight. almost like harvest and we are not farmers. so by my calculations i plan on having 3 kids bathed and in bed in less than 4 hours.
4 hours - i can do that.
its 101 outside - i'm thinking in the shade it has to be a few degrees cooler so out they will go.
taking children through carwashes is a kick. six eyes darted back and forth in sheer wonder at the bubbles, rollers and sprayers.
he kept telling me - 'daa-e, daa-e wah caw. ja daa-e wah.' yes, i said jack helps daddy wash the car, normally. but today mommy was taking it through the wash. he agreed with his enthusiastic 'yEaH!'
the laundry is the last chore to finish and the house will have recovered from a neglected weekend. there are even fresh flowers set around. i should clarify - we had a good weekend, nothing was neglected except the house!
the chocolate muffin i just ate is not helping the look of my feet. they have a very pregnant look today.
