they are checking out the new grill - in their new boots.
it came from the goodwill. we plan on giving it a nice home. he says the picture doesn't give it the credit it should have (but i was allowed to post its picture, in spite of it) - it really is a great weber. tonight his chicken, onions & tomatos turned out very good. we also for the first time cooked butternut squash (really how could it go wrong with brown sugar & honey glazed over it!) it was a very 'fall-ish' sort of meal.
we went for a family walk afterwards - it's been awhile since we have visited the cows. we got there just in time to say goodnight!
this was a 'take-a-picture-of-me-mom' smile - in her snazzy new giraffe boots - which she already introduced to leftover rain puddles on the way home.

home is a great place -
'how lovely is Your dwelling place, O Lord of hosts! my soul longed and even yearned for the courts of the Lord . . . for a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside. i would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness . . . no good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly . . .
