this morning he was outside with his pajamas, boots, blankie & 'fuffy' riding in the tractor 'packing the pit' - before i realized where he was. he could have rode for hours and was pretty bummed about having to come in for breakfast and to get dressed : )
breakfast was barely over and they were barely dressed when i realized we had visitors in the living room - surprise! ( i was just glad i'd already gone outside once this morning and was sort of dressed! ) it was a good day for unexpected company. never mind that breakfast was still on the table and like i mentioned i really wasn't dressed . . . . we spent the day outside watching the trucks & tractors & visiting - amazed to think that watching harvest next year we also will be watching 7 little ones.
my little friend - who was happy to sit with me over riding in the tractor. jack was happy with that too. 'you stay with my mom - i'll ride with your dad!!'
they climbed as high as they could on the pile and then tumbled down. over and over - they were covered in silage. it stuck to their runny noses. benny & josie thought it was good to eat. one of the cows even got out and had to be chased back in . . oh the adventure.
today his world was pretty exciting -
