Monday November 5, 2007

so at this moment i'm wondering why i let him take his blankie outside . . . ? other than its his and he loves it and blankies are really never denied . .  . but i have been on more 'blankie hunts' for ben's little red blanket in the last several days. at this second its whereabouts are unknown outside somewhere . . but he is happy with the bbq tools.

its monday - after a busy weekend. that means lots of catching up. glad for the sunshine today and a charged gator battery : )

the buttons on my shirt are stretching in all the wrong directions - that in itself is enough to make me cry & laugh at the same time.

sailor is on her third pair of shoes - navy mary-janes, to pink plastic heels & now its purple flip-flops. at least the outfit is unchanged.

jack is on his second pair of underwear!

ben is on his first forehead bruise of the morning. ate the concrete again. adding to the one already there. this one came with a bit of road rash, too.

she is *home* - being at the airport yesterday made me want to take a trip. he said he'd like to go on one with me - just me  ; ) somehow seeing the fathers pushing strollers, carrying backpacks, carseats & children didn't inspire him -

i liked the concert last night. 'we live our lives for the renown of Christ . . . .'

i am determinded to clean up my desk today.

last friday there was suddenly visitors in the living room. humbling not to really be dressed or have breakfast off the table - ahh. but inspite of those minor details we spent the day outside watching harvest.

my little friend. jack was totally okay with the fact that he'd rather sit with me than ride in the tractors. 'you stay with my mommy - i'll ride with your daddy!' it worked perfectly for both boys  : )

some pictures from the fog the other morning. along with letting blankies outside it seems kids still in 'jammies have been outside alot lately too. the haytrucks were coming.

again i accept responsibility for the fashion : )

my little pumpkin pie -

they have set up quite the nursery in the living room. cabbage, teddy & monkey are being well cared for. for the moment he's abandoned his tractors and is wrapped up in the world of his sister.

i need to go. the laundry has stopped & ben is still outside . . .
