since i'm not too good at keeping up on photo albums - at all really!! this post is just a collection of pictures from the past weekend.
we went to a family wedding on saturday. i am officially excited for august.
these little girls & benny had fun together. i waited till they were done talking to rex before i made it in the picture : ) then the cat came . . .
sailor had a hard time understanding that these ladies were grandpa's sisters. ???? it makes sense to her that auntie april is daddy's sister - but aunt robin being grandpa's sister was a new concept.
my favorite part of this shot - the pearls. beautiful.

this (and many others like it that are not posted) was just a lighting practice picture. jack was my helper and ran back and forth with me. so excited to be in mom & dad pictures.
till we just set up the flash and found more kids : )
ben got cut out. sailor's cheerfulness had left. jack had molly's pacifier?!

one thing i love about sailor is peer pressure means nothing to her. the little girl that turned 3 in april with arm floaties flew down the slide with reckless abandon - sailor, lifejacket clad gripped and inched her way down!

amie rode home with us. and what do you know - she started singing : ) this time it was leoana lewis with a starbucks straw. love benny's look. 'wHat iS she dOing??'

we waited for the geese to cross on our way home.

we unloaded the suburban, started some laundry and headed out on bikes. everyone had ideas were we should take pictures. they were best at walking around from one place to the next without coming up with definint choices. meanwhile we lost more and more light : )
i almost cut my hair off today. i almost do every time i sit at the salon.
. . . not 30 yet : )
i also almost went grocery shopping - that would have been better. what do have for dinner?? other than the first zucchini we picked from our garden last night. zucchini & eggs maybe! ah, its about all we have left around here.
i think a date sounds nice. that would answer the dinner question - at least for 2 of us.
rex is out constructing a cat house. he has given edward strict instructions to stop procreating - lol. and is in the process of turning the garage & shed inside out hunting up kittens. i think we'll keep one for benny. he has a love affair with cats right now. its just what to do with the nearly dozen others.
the wind has been blowing non-stop. i love the sound of howling wind. i'm just not as crazy about the dusty footprints i see on the floors as soon as 30 minutes after sweeping.
(somehow jack missed the group up part : )
