there are alot of neat things written about stephen in acts.
the leaders, the officials, the rulers - they were frustrated with his wisdom. they couldn't get around what the Spirit was doing. they 'induced men', 'stirred up the people', 'dragged him away' & 'put forward false witnesses' and then they had this to deal with . . .
'and fixing their gaze on him, all who were sitting on the council saw his face lithe the face of an angel.'
they were unable to cope - an incredible testimony of his life.

i had a hard time 'coping' with this yesterday : ) sailor's treasures had multiplied with birthday gifts. her room needed an overhaul. see that open top dresser drawer . . . oh the things a little girl has!!
jack went to do some work with rex yesterday and loaded up the shovels all by himself into the truck. not just one but four and a broom so 'he could sweep the piles to shovel.'
after sailor's room and the rest of the house was cleaned yesterday - rex did wonders on my ability to cope and we went on a date. perfect.
romance has many forms . . . we ended our date buying diapers & driving home in separate cars - but : ) you know . . . the together parts were really great.

i feel like i am now an official bridesmaid. my dress finally came & it zips : ) i finally went to buy shoes. i bought the last pair they had! ahh that was close.
chad's wedding invitation came in the mail yesterday. that was happy.
so is the news that april is having a baby.
i slept all night last night. and so did my kids! i got up to ride and decided to stay up . . . with all that uninterrupted sleep i got : )

yesterday at breakfast she asked if she was still five. jack wanted to be five too.

i was going to get on quick and put up a couple pictures . . .
quite awhile later now - its breakfast time. i think we'll have leftover birthday cake.
