the fact that its taken molly & the boys close to 2 hours to fall asleep this afternoon, with enough trips down the hall that i quit counting & when we have some place to be in an hour! . . . thats the only little black rain cloud of the weekend.
we got copious (rex says i use that word alot so i thought i'd type it out) amounts of work done around here yesterday. we can once again walk into the shed without stepping over 27 different things to get to buckets food. we can see the floor & work benches in the garage again. we won't run anything over anymore pulling out of the driveway. the yard guys came. the rain washed away sidewalk chalk school work and harvest dust. its cleaned up outside - we are ready for fall. all we need is pumpkins and that is next weeks field trip!
we left the windows open last night (like always) and the sound and smell of the rain was wonderful.
we went out today for diapers, new work boots & to see new baby ruby. we're having clam chowder for dinner. we want to get the kids in bed early so we can go for round two of the office. we watch whole seasons in a few nights with popcorn and ice cream.
rex said he'd iron church clothes - he's just handsome for things like that.
molly is officially the longest lasting baby in our household. by nine months the others were on their way to becoming the big sister or brother.
molly is still the baby around here : ) i've felt slightly bad she's never been in for 'real' pictures. goodness it was every three months with sailor and here molly is nine and not even one!
well you work with what ya got. so we got creative with the dead wheat field across the road instead of a nice well lite, clean back drop protrait place . . . maybe someday for molly dolly.
