i like eating handfuls of frozen chocolate chips.
i like it when certain days end.
i like the cool breeze coming in from the open door & windows.
i like no one being around so i don't have to worry about what i'm wearing.
i liked the phone call from amie - even though i missed it cause the house was just too loud.
i've liked the old friends that have said hello on facebook.
i like the idea that tomorrow at this time i will be in a very different place.
i like the truth that God is always kind, patient & good - even when i can't find those qualities to save my life.

tomorrow is the last day of vacation bible school. its the first time the kids have ever gone - jack & sailor anyway. its kept us up, out & busy most of the week.
packing again for another mini weekend away. somehow by now i thought i'd be better at packing the kids up - but no : ) i over pack & forgot things all at the same time.
they are super excited to be going where they're going & we're just as excited to be going where we're going. i'm trying to think of the last time it was just us for an overnight . . . . we always try for at least one in between each kid : ) this might be the last for awhile with little baby coming.
7 weeks left. we have 2 birthdays & an anniversary in the meantime.
these are just a few of the shots taken on a point & shoot from our wheat field picture night. we're pretty curious to see his 'real' work - as he has gone on about the brown tones & blonde hair & white dresses : )
i'm just incredibly partial of the subjects with or without those brown tones in a dried wheat field. and yes it was as hot as our faces looked. thankfully it wasn't the first time the kids had done crazy things for pictures : )
