Sunday March 28, 2010

- - -

look at the time - its not 12 something am and i'm posting : )

it must be sunday.  jack told me today he didn't like sundays. there was obviously a point to his statement, so i asked him why.

his answer -

'tas i don't yike taking naps.'

well happy day for him - he is outside playing away.

sailor said church was not the same without daddy. jack was wondering how come dad's worker men didn't know it was sunday.  ben thinks daddy would be more fun.

can you tell we're missing rex!

i looked over in church this morning to see jack doing a headstand on the chair with his feet up on the side wall & him dropping back down with a triumphant YES!  dude. i exclaimed back and then gave a you're-totally-not-doing-that-again look. i was glad i'd picked the nearly very back row.

car washing to the kids meant swimsuits, the hose and lots of happy quick intakes of air as they got used to the water : )

my car washing bucket -

regan worked on her tan -

cheap, blissful fun -

molly thought she wanted to play till she realized 2 seconds later she didn't -

and wanted her clothes back on : )

leftover pictures from our week -

we went to the library on friday and got a book about an elephant with a red scarf - this was sailor's version.

a whole bunch of regan expressions - while we did some laundry.

and then we needed to get into the washer so she got moved to the floor.

one of my favorite pictures from this week -

mom, he tells me, i'm using my new muscles 'cause my old ones are getting tired.

- - -

some black & whites -

dirt in the 'pits = hard work and play!

the sign in this picture made me go - 'really!?  leg & thigh deal - i admit that i'm pretty much an in n' out snob when it comes to fast food & this would be one of the reasons why.  oh what 99 cents can buy!

and my quote of the week came from yes another bank trip : ) this time though it was to our friendly local bank where we walk in and they all smile and know us and say hello and take the kids back behind locks doors for candy & there is not a mile long line.

the girl being helped first goes -

'wow. that's like FIVE kids!'

what do you know

last weeks comment was -

'did you mean to have them all that close together?'

happy palm sunday -
