you know what is terrible - i can remember each kids first birthday except benny's. i remember his 2nd birthday, his 3rd birthday, his 4th birthday .... i remember the day he was born : )
sailor - we went all out with a party out front. all the family. pink everything. piles of gifts. ice cream cakes.
jack - we had a party all planned for him with little cowboy invitations but we canceled it 'cause he was so sick with whooping cough. he ended up with a little cupcake in his highchair with streamers.
ben - seriously i'm blank ...
molly - we we took down the christmas tree & had a birthday breakfast with a candle in french toast.
regan - we went to costco & bought pumpkin pies -
she turned away all shy when we started singing happy birthday -
her new 'wheels' -

we set precedence this year by declaring regan's birthday a holiday from school ... we'll have to follow through with our january birthday kids too, now : )
we spent the day running errands. we went to the library. we forgot to have her weighed. we ate lunch in the target parking lot. we made sure we had whip cream for the pies. we told her over & over again - 'happy birthday, rega-roo.' she got loved on by the grandmas & grandpas that night.
she crawls with a fair amount of speed now. she pulls up on everything. she rarely sits down in her highchair. she is so crazy loud - especially in the car. her little feet still fit the 0-6m shoe size. the little black shoes she's wearing in the pictures are 1's. her hair is making up for her feet not growing though : ) she is so very much apart of our family. we are still in awe she's ours .....
