you know how she used to steal cheese sticks from the 'frig .... well cheese sticks aren't a staple in our house like milk or dark chocolate or butter are, so when those ran out she came up with something new.

but really the real reason for these pictures was because i was just in love with her fat little legs spilling over the the tops of her too tight knee highs. the whole look was just doing me in : ) at almost 17 months a girl cares nothing about holding in her stomach, or the size of her legs or how she looks in a side profile. beauty right there, pure beauty.

and a mental snap to close -
one of today's favorite parts was putting the boys to bed when jack asked if i could get rex's new phone and play the 'matt-n-maher' song. i said hold on and they lit up. i came back with the phone that plays music and let them listen to this - its their favorite song right now
i sat in the dark on the old brown couch in their room and from the blue light of the phone i watched my little boys listen from their bunk beds. jack on the top with his hand over the rail propping up his chin singing along and benny on the bottom buried under his blankets with just the tip of his head sticking out.
