Of Oct 12 -

(written yesterday, posted today)

he's just a little in love with his daddy - xo

Its Saturday & his birthday & we had nothing planned.

So we just stayed together all day.

He wanted Panera for lunch, so we went.

We put Chad in the stroller & walked to Costco. We watched baseball play offs & made dinner.

There is ham on the cutting board waiting to be sliced. The sweet potatoes just came out of the oven & the pumpkin dessert is going in.

Onions & green beans are on the stove.

The boys are wrestling. Chad is trying to sweep ... everything.  Sailor is playing piano. The little girls are helping here in the kitchen.

Its loud here : )

But it smells good.

And we are all together.

There is an amazing bouquet of fresh flowers in our room.

Homemade birthday cards are sitting on the table.

Besides not going to the pumpkin patch & the kids thinking the walk to Costco was too long, it's been a fabulous day.

And then later after the kids were in bed, we went for a run .... or really a walk, 'cause we had enjoyed birthday desserts.

some late night exercise - it was a chilly 64 degrees :)

happy birthday babe, you're pretty much my most favorite of all time, in the history of ever.

All together; the loveliest place to be.
Late night runs are my fave. But I can see I've been missing out with my boring Adidas pants and old navy sweatshirts. Clearly you have fun-runs in your late nights. :)
Happy start of the week!

Just so you know I respect anyone who didn't succumb into buying a van.. but what do you drive? Just curious! Getting a mini van was pretty much the worst day of my life. Ha!

I am so hungry now after reading this post. And it makes me want to make something with pumpkin.
