Of Best of 3's -
- - -
First of all I'm going to start with stating that I squarely won Rex in a best out of 3 round of Rock. Paper. Scissors. The first time he picked scissors & I picked the rock, then he picked the rock & I picked paper.
He is disgustingly good at silly games of strategy like that .... somehow always able to guess ahead what you'll pick.
So the victory was very sweet.
Very.
On top of the fact that we had Rock. Paper. Scissored. over who would wash Regan's hair in the tub.
Double. Win. : )
Next, we made a pumpkin dessert tonight & ate it for dinner.
The other day in the car the kids were adding up the years till they'd be teenagers.
Regan told me this week - 'hey mom, do you know we standing on earth? we is. this is earth, our ground.' And in the next breath she asks 'where's neptune?'
Can you tell she's a byproduct of Astronomy Class this year? : )
Rex found the perfect van. He showed me the 17 pictures posted with it. It was a Ford, with bad round rims. It was the color of a bad combo of blue & teal & turquoise all mixed into one. Then he goes - 'you know what this van screams?' I immediately thought of several things, but waited for his idea :) 'it screams i have no problem with pride. it screams i am perfectly of with my self image & it screams don't care a bit what others think of me.'
I'm ok admitting I have a bit a pride : )
It was hideous.

So while this post really says nothing of substance for what has been going on lately .... it at least was a token we-are-still-here.
Life, stories, news, updates, pictures .... coming soon.

I'll take your token posts any day. :) Good to hear from you.
Things I thought whilst reading this post. In no particular order
I'll take tokens
Rex has always been a good salesman.
My stomach sinks a little when my kids add up the years until they're teenagers.
I never win rock, paper, scissors. I always choose scissors. It's like my hand is deformed and will only make that shape.
Reg is darling and I can just hear her little voice asking where's Neptune.
PS- I like you
...and i'm glad you're still here! :)
