we've never necessarily been known for keeping animals - we like them, they just don't last long around here.  edward, is the first cat to have come to us.  he wandered in from the haystacks & when we feed him he does a pretty good job of hanging around. so the other afternoon he showed long-suffering with the boys - much to their delight.  

he really is a great cat : )

daylight savings is one of my husbands favorite days of the year (you know - right up there with my birthday!) so on sunday after naps with all the hours of daylight we still had left, we popped some popcorn and headed out for the cows.  usually our old country road is all ours, but as we started out we noticed we had vistors coming toward us on bikes - a fun and unexpected surprise. so we shared our popcorn and enjoyed daylight savings together -
