flies & cheerios! there are SO many in our house this morning.
the cheerios because molly & jack had a food fight of sorts at breakfast - unsupervised, naturally : )
the flies because of the cows & more than usual due to harvest right now. on the none barn sides of our house there are orchards and shaking the trees drives them all indoors!
so that was random. so is the list of things i want to do before the baby comes -
find the carseat out in the shed.
throw the molding sour cream out from the 'frig.
you know, the basics : )

jack & rex went and got a bible yesterday.

based on ruby's experience in the jumper the other night - we're thinking letting molly help the baby won't be the safest of ideas! poor rubs got banged repeatedly into the wall : )

he thought closing the blinds was important. so was showing his muscles. his outfit (or lack of one) in a word - sailor. but man i think he's just 'handsomely' darling! he's 3 already - 3!!

a small bit of nesting kicked in this weekend. thanks to fabric from robin & mom's machine i did some sewing. (a small laugh here is totally acceptable, knowing my skills!)
why i sew is a good question, considering the mother, mother-in-law & sister-in-law i have. they do things like measure and then cut or pin and then sew. they start with knowing what they're doing. me not so much - my sewing has character, like this -
or i get the great idea to stitch some writing on a sheet for the cradle and get one word done & am tired of that : ) or how hard can it be to make a blanket?
at least our baby now has diapers, new oneies, little socks, cradle sheets & a blanket to call their own ~

this is gus - our new kitty. this is also molly's new hair do. jack did his own thing with ben & molly's hair last weekend . . . this is after the hairdresser tried fixing it. a bit sad that her little baby curl in the back is gone but its just hair and she's got quite the funky cut right now : )

rex has the kids all out working right now. somehow working out with dad is more 'fun' than having to clean their rooms with mom : ) in spite of the fact that they're working harder outside than in . . . but thats good too!
i've got some things that need to get in the mail today. some school things to work on. some laundry to do. some kids to love and a husband to thank for living with a very pregnant wife.
