today was ....
monday, no.
tuesday, no.
wednesday, no.
thursday, no.
friday, no.
saturday, no.
sunday, no. no wait - yes.
sundays we usually wake up together. we try not to be grossly late for church. we remind ourselves its one of the only days we get to be together all day long so we shouldn't waste it not being friends. we lay every kid down for a nap. we enjoy our evening - wanting every last minute to be great before the week starts over.
this sunday was nothing like that.
except the getting along part - we totally got along : )
but he worked all day & we didn't go to church.
two seriously unusual things.
after a veggie tales from the library and a barely get the ground wet rain we decided a walk would be a good idea ... till we got out of the driveway & already there was issues with who would push the stroller & who was running ahead too fast & who forgot shoes & who was too hot & who was ..... you get the idea : )
and i wasn't the one with the issues - lol.
you might just think the entire length of the alfalfa field would be way too far to cry the whole way -
but you'd be wrong.
its not.
such a great time : )
the beauty of them though is with just the right direction it can all be over as quick as it started. the right conversation about something totally unrelated to their current life crisis & we're good to go again.
benny thought the cows were all after molly : ) its that hazy from the dust they kicked up.

my Jehovah's Witness lady friend stopped by today. she usually comes on tuedays (another reason today didn't seem like sunday!) i was excited to see her - she hadn't been in out quite awhile. she brought a 'new' person out with her ... for practicing purposes. i have gone to complete offense in conversations when they come. i will ask the questions, i'll bring up the topics, i'll lead. she's been coming i figured for over 2 years now ... and if she feels comfortable to keep coming and bringing different friends than i'll keep reminding her that Jesus IS God. that i have a relationship with Him. that He saved me based on what He did at the cross. that i have the hope of heaven. that the bible does not contradict itself. that Jesus said He was God. today we talked about salvation ... and not loosing it ... for nearly an hour.
pray for maria .... i want to secretly hope that she keeps coming back 'cause maybe she sees the beauty of all that.
the whole visit ran into naps - again another reason to not believe today was sunday.
the common cold - its been a little too common around here. i'm so ready for it to leave. regan is the last to get it & she is just a misery for it.

i'm pretty sure my hair would stand up on its own - i don't remember the last time it was washed. probably all the way back to last weekend [gasp] the hat from the last post meant we were already overdue : )
rex came home tonight and fixed the suburban - i can go out tomorrow without the brakes stopping metal to metal, without it smoking & not going into reverse. and that was after he worked all day.
so much for the whole eat popcorn, watch football night : )
i'm going to bed before midnight.
